Ran the Kubernetes platform product teams build on: a namespace arrives with quotas, ingress, TLS and monitoring already wired together, so shipping a service does not require learning the cluster. Delivery moved to GitOps — the repository holds the desired state, and anything changed by hand on the cluster is reverted automatically. The last physical servers went into hybrid cloud; maintenance spend fell 30–40%.
Owned the Kubernetes platform and the GitOps model that delivers onto it. Product teams request a namespace and receive quotas, network policy, ingress, TLS and monitoring already wired together, which keeps them out of cluster internals and keeps cluster upgrades schedulable.
Finished moving the remaining legacy estate off physical servers into a hybrid cloud footprint across AWS and GCP. Maintenance spend fell by 30-40%, though the more useful outcome was that the infrastructure finally existed as code rather than as institutional memory.
